WOMEN'S LIBERATION
The 60s brought several large leaps to the feminist movement. In 1963, Betty Friedan published "The Feminine Mystique," in the same year, Gloria Steinam became an undercover Playboy Bunny. 1967 brought the National Organisation of Women, the Abortion Act, and the 1968 strike for equal pay paved the way for the Equal Pay Act in 1970. Many aspects of this movement only served white women, and women of color were not an equal part in this fight yet.
